Unordinary technology has led the design of this modest residence, which was completed within a few months - steel skeleton was brought to the squared site, mounted on a concrete raft and wrapped in lightweight materials with thermal qualities.
The typical section of this house is based on the interpretation of traditional slate roof that by breaking and separating the two plateaus becomes another kind of an upper view and frontier. Elevating the front side of the building contributes to inclusion into the street, while lowering the back allows insertion of filtered northern light, clearly creating hierarchy between private and public sector.
Municipality legal limitations dictated rigid position of the house as a full width centered buffer, but on the other hand it has made a challenge of creating an optimization of perspective eye contact lines and making an air circulation, all by using the section which neutralizes the break and link the two open areas by using interiors spaces.
