2005-2007 > Built 230 sqm > One acretotally, gently sloped

Up this long narrow plot there is a parents' house, and designing a new house for the children accounted for the relationship between the structures was a key issue, as a reflection of family relations throughout different generations.
The proportions of the area on the one hand, and the needs programmatic needs on the other hand, led the planning of particularly high structure, distributed intermediates levels that are assigned for different functions and users. Placed for various vistas and movements allowed throughout the staircase were emphasized, connecting the levels of the house and the various gardens - due to the topography characterization a direct backdoor access was designed, enabling a direct route from children's room level to grandparents garden, and a frontal generous garden which established as the formal entrance to the house.
The vertical volume is splitting and maintaining light along all building height, and place slot marks to the various entrances of the house sides. At the conjunction with future neighbors we created a wall that concentrates various service areas and systems, to evacuate the main living spaces to the building frontiers.
